Formed in 2004 AnimationSA set about to grow the animation and related digital arts industries and cohesively and co-operatively address the challenges that we have faced.
Our strategy has rested firmly on the pillars of transformation, growth, and innovation and to this end, we have worked tirelessly to support artists and producers from all sectors of society to gain access to scholarships, job opportunities, content markets, and government incentives that have been developed primarily to support traditional industries.
ASA has also established training and education standards in partnership with SETAs and FETs to ensure that SA education in our sector is globally competitive and accessible to all who seek a career in animation.
