Queer Catalyst Vol 2

Queer Catalyst Vol 2 is a dynamic showcase presented by GALA Queer Archive, Now in it’s second year. This project is a powerful testament to the collective effort to promote LGBTQIA+ stories of hope and affirmation. It features talented creatives who use storytelling to explore themes such as friendship, heartbreak, belonging, and self-discovery. Queer Catalyst goes beyond presenting queerness as a subject matter, embracing it as an approach to creative practice. Developed as a creative method for sharing and accessing impactful LGBTQIA+ narratives, this project brings intimate stories to life through animation, drawing inspiration from the Activism in Africa anthology by GALA, Fak’ugesi Festival, and Taboom Media.
