Elisabeth « Liz » Gomis, lives and works in Paris. As a cultural engineering consultant, Liz Gomis started her career as a journalist and filmmaker for television and radio. In 2017, she joined the Presidential Council for Africa (CPA) and the following year became part of the general commission of Africa2020 Season orchestrated by Senegalese architect N’Goné Fall. In 2020, she launched the bi-annual magazine OFF TO, dedicated to the changemakers of African cities. Since 2022, she has been tasked as a precursor to implement the project initiated by Professor Achille Mbembe, MansA, Maison des Mondes Africains. Since June 2024, she is the director of MansA.
