Industry and Opening Day

By invitation only

Welcome to the opening ceremony of the Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation festival! This momentous event marks the beginning of a thrilling journey into the world of digital innovation, creativity, and collaboration.

As the curtain rises, we are introduced to a variety of captivating programs that will unfold over the course of five exciting days. From immersive virtual reality experiences to thought-provoking panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions, the lineup promises to ignite the imagination and push the boundaries of what is possible in the digital realm.

This year's festival is made possible through the generous support of our esteemed supporters, who have recognised the immense value of fostering innovation and creativity in Africa. Their dedication and belief in the power of digital arts and technology have made it possible for us to bring together a diverse community of artists, technologists, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts to celebrate the richness of African digital culture.

Originating a decade ago, the Fak’ugesi festival has grown from a humble gathering of like-minded individuals to a renowned platform that showcases the cutting-edge advancements in African digital innovation. Throughout the years, it has become a catalyst for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the nurturing of emerging talent, propelling Africa's digital industry onto the global stage.

We welcome all our supporters, partners and friends to this festival opening celebration.
