Prof Barry Square

Previously named Founders Square, Prof Barry Square is named after the founder of the Tshimologong Precinct Prof Barry Dwolatzky, find out more about his journey and how he helped to develop the precinct in his book Coded History.

Barry Dwolatzky was an Emeritus Professor and Director of Innovation Strategy at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (Wits). He was also founder and director of the University’s Joburg Centre for Software Engineering (JCSE) and founder of the Tshimologong Digital Innovation Precinct in Braamfontein Johannesburg.
